Pushed forward really well, particularly in the first half and showed good understanding with Reece James. He lost his defensive battles on a couple of occasions but was otherwise solid. Photo: AHPIX

Excellent in the first half as he dictated play but lost his influence as Portsmouth began to play higher up the pitch. He wrestled it back though after the break and was strong. His pass that sparked the goal was an excellent one and he was very good in helping Rovers see the game out. Photo: AHPIX

Very lively over the first quarter of the game and found plenty of space between the Portsmouth lines to create opportunities. But his efforts waned as the game wore on and he was beaten in 50-50 challenges far too easily. Photo: AHPIX

Did not have much opportunity to get on the ball and motor forward as he typically would before he was withdrawn with an apparent injury. He did his defensive work well during Portsmouth’s first half resurgence but a rather quiet afternoon. Photo: AHPIX
