Here is how we rated Rovers’ individual performances on a disastrous afternoon at the Mazuma Stadium. Let us know your thoughts on Twitter @FreePressRovers.
5. Branden Horton 4
Struggled to deal with the threat of McLaughlin and McLoughlin throughout the game, but particularly so in the second half when he was under constant pressure. Photo: AHPIX Ltd
6. Matt Smith 4
Dominant in the first half, so easy to play through in the second. He looked nervy under pressure as Morecambe built an increasing head of steam. A huge shame because his work before the break was really good. Photo: AHPIX Ltd
7. Ethan Galbraith 4
So good in the first half, so sloppy in the second. He played some wonderful passes to keep Rovers on the front foot and was a major part in them being clear in their lead. But he could not get a grip of the ball after the break and made some poor decisions in possession as they struggled to stem the tide. Photo: AHPIX Ltd
8. Dan Gardner 8
Excellent in the first half and always had the intent to get Rovers on the front foot. He moved the ball well and worked his way into good positions, adding experience and smarts in the middle of the park. His intent seemed to rub off on those around him. Substituted at half time. Photo: AHPIX Ltd
