The Dons beat Gillingham in their first game and drew at Hartlepool United last weekend. They also fell at the first hurdle in the cup in midweek, losing at home to the Gills.

LIVE: AFC Wimbledon v Doncaster Rovers

Biggins stands up a cross to the back post and Rowe gets up above his man but heads tamely wide - he should’ve done better.

Wimbledon much sharper now and Assal is a real livewire up front. Rovers must stand firm.

Gunter ghosts in at the back post and volleys Currie’s cross just over.

Another Dons corner. They’ve made a bright start to the second period.

The Dons force an early corner and, after one shot is blocked, Chislett fires another effort just over the bar.

The second half is underway. Rovers kicking towards the 500 or so travelling fans.

That’s the best Rovers have been with the ball so far this season but that final bit of quality has evaded them.

Clayton, Biggins and Tomlin in particular have looked good on the ball.

The build-up has been encouraging but Miller, Rowe and Hurst need to get more involved in the game.

At the other end Mitchell has been alert and made a couple of fairly routine saves. Rovers on top but it’s all square still.

More decent build-up play ends with Miller’s shot deflecting behind for a corner.

Bit of a lull in the game and it’s got slightly scrappy. Perhaps the heat is starting to take its toll.

Meanwhile, Clayton is down in a heep after going in for a tackle.

Rovers’ skipper is okay to continue.
