Goals from Joe Ironside and Hakeeb Adelakun put them 2-0 up before a late consolation from Isaac Hutchinson. Grant McCann’s side were well worth the win, as they made it seven wins on the bounce.
They are now just four points off the League Two play-off spots.
Here’s how we rated the Rovers players:
5. James Maxwell - 7
Didn't get forward as much as he'd have liked but was another decent showing from the Scot. Photo: HOWARD ROE
6. Owen Bailey - 8
Gritty and hard-working as ever. Will run and run all day long. Headed everything. Photo: HOWARD ROE
7. Matthew Craig - 7
Recovered after a shaky start as he started to display his range of passing and calmness on the ball. Photo: HOWARD ROE
8. Luke Molyneux - 7
Like many, he was alot quieter than he has been recently but still provided quality when needed as he teed up Ironside for the opener. Made most key passes (four) of any Rovers player. Photo: HOWARD ROE
