Doncaster Rovers’ search for a first league win of the season continues this weekend as they make the trip to the capital to take on AFC Wimbledon.
After falling to a disappointing 3-2 defeat against Plymouth Argyle last weekend, Grant McCann’s men will be keen to produce an improved performance so that they can begin climbing the league table after suffering the misfortune of dropping into the relegation places.
Rovers came out on top in their last meeting with Wimbledon back in January, with Owen Bailey’s 99th minute winner proving to be a catalyst for a real upturn in form for the team, who at the time were languishing in the relegation places.
That particular win was Rovers’ first at Wimbledon in their entire Football League history, but can they repeat the trick this time around?
Here’s our predicted starting lineup for this weekend’s game, with two changes from the team that lost against Plymouth Argyle.
5. LB: Jack Senior
Jack Senior has probably been Rovers' most consistent defender in the early weeks of the season and he's even starting to add goals to his game. He'll likely keep his place despite the return of James Husband. | Howard Roe AHPIX LTD 07973739229 [email protected]

6. CM: Owen Bailey
Owen Bailey could make his 144th league start in a row when Rovers travel to AFC Wimbledon. He got off the mark for the new season in the club's last away game against Stevenage. | DRFC

7. CM: Robbie Gotts
The 26-year-old looks likely to start in central midfield ahead of the likes of Harry Clifton, George Broadbent and Darren Robinson. He's been a regular fixture in the team this season. | Howard Roe/AHPIX.com

8. RM: Jordan Thomas
After a pretty strong performance against Huddersfield in the EFL Trophy, Jordan Thomas might have done enough to claim a place in the starting lineup ahead of Tommi O'Reilly. | Howard Roe
