Here is how we rated Rovers’ individual performances at the Keepmoat. Let us know what you think on Twitter @FreePressRovers.
1. Ellery Balcombe 6
Another solid performance from the keeper who stood up well to what Oxford threw at him. He would have hoped to do better with his parry which led to Long’s goal but it was a difficult effort to deal with. His long range distribution could have been better. Photo: Ed Sykes/AHPIX LTD
2. Brad Halliday 8
He was given a tough time in his defensive duties but rose to the challenge to battle against a variety of options. And he carried the ball well when required to help ease the pressure, particularly after moving higher up the pitch in the second half. Photo: Bruce Rollinson
3. Tom Anderson 9
Another week, another incredible performance from the skipper. He threw himself in front of everything that came his way, with some brilliant blocks to deny Oxford the equaliser they sought. His part in this run of form has been huge. Photo: Howard Roe/AHPIX LTD
4. Andy Butler 9
Like his defensive partner, Butler was in no mood to concede and defended with trademark composure, grit and bravery to keep Oxford at bay. A towering performance. Photo: Andrew Roe/AHPIX LTD
