13. Tommy Rowe 8
A model professional, leader and beacon of consistency and reliability in very difficult circumstances. Top scored with nine goals despite spending a large chunk of the season at left back, where his influence and goal threat was somewhat wasted. Photo: AHPIX Ltd
14. AJ Greaves n/a
The failure to sign a defensive midfielder in the summer window handed the 21-year-old a big opportunity but he blew his chance with a daft red card at Walsall in the Carabao Cup. Photo: AHPIX Ltd
15. Ethan Galbraith 6
Clearly a talented midfielder and he didn't let anyone down but his impact waned as the season wore on due to injury and then the return of more experienced players. Rovers were too lightweight and inexperienced with both him AND Matt Smith in the engine room. Photo: AHPIX Ltd
16. Ben Close 5
Made just 17 appearances during an injury-ruined campaign. Another technically-gifted midfielder but he never really got out of second gear. Photo: AHPIX Ltd
