A number of bus services have been curtailed due to the snowy and icy conditions across South Yorkshire on Friday (December 4).

First South Yorkshire said their services have been unable to operate a normal service at three Sheffield suburbs, Fulwood, Crystal Peaks/Halfway and Dore.

Their 120 service heading to Fulwood will be terminating at Ranmoor due to snow in the area and while the same service heading to Crystal Peaks/Halfway will be commencing at Ranmoor.

Motorists and bus passengers have been warned of travel disruptions as more snow is forecast until Saturday, with the worst affected areas expected to be the hills and areas in the Peak District.

Temperatures are expected to stay low as we head into the weekend, with highs of around 4C and lows of 1C, dipping to below freezing overnight.
