“It’s our way of giving back to the community.”

The four young women will be visiting areas around Doncaster in December and singing a selection of Christmas songs to anyone who feels they need a bit of cheer.

Charlotte says that she wants to help people forget the bad that they have been through this year due to Covid-19 and get them to focus on a brighter future.

“Christmas is my favourite time of the year,” she said.

“It brings everyone together and we think it’s going to be even more poignant this year because of what everyone has suffered.”

Charlotte hopes that her singing group can bring back a bit of excitement to those who feel they are missing out.

They will be reaching out to care homes across Doncaster and community groups who help people in need.

“This is a free service but we are taking a bucket with us if anybody wants to donate,” she said.

The group is especially interested in singing for those who live alone or have had a rough year but they are open for anyone who wants to hear them sing.
