Drone footage shows lorry chaos caused by farmers' protest at Doncaster Tesco depot
Drone footage shows the lorry chaos caused by protesting farmers who blockaded Doncaster’s Tesco distribution depot with their tractors.
An early morning blockade of the warehouse in Middle Bank yesterday was part of a nationwide “Labour out” protest.
Supermarket distribution warehouses across the country were targeted overnight and lorry drivers were unable to access or leave the Doncaster site as farmers staged the protest, accusing retailers of squeezing producers while prices rise for consumers.
Local drone enthusiast Deano Wardle captured the scenes on camera, showing numerous lorries parked up on nearby road waiting to get into the depot.

Tractors were seen sporting slogans such as “Starmer is a w*****”, "raised right, raised British" and "Labour out" during the nationwide demos.
Lincolnshire man Ed Pritchard, the farmer behind the demonstration, told GB News on Monday the new "direct action" came from a place of desperation.
"The industry is in absolute turmoil," he said. "We can't carry on for much longer as we are.
"We really do need to see a complete U-turn in the inheritance tax," Mr Pritchard continued.
"We need to see better farmgate prices being paid to us by the by supermarkets and such like, and and we need to see a tariff imposed on imported produce into this country."
"We just can't carry on like this," he said.
Farmers have said that rising production costs are pushing more businesses to the brink.
They have also been taking part in tractor protests across the country calling for changes to the government’s farm inheritance tax policy.
Police attended, but the protest passed without incident.
