Doncaster's Sheridan Smith threatens legal action against 'shady snakes' in online outburst

Doncaster TV star and singer Sheridan Smith has lashed out at ‘shady snakes’ in her life – and threatened them with legal action in an X-rated, cryptic social media blast.

The 39-year-old actress, who comes from Epworth, angrily posted on social media how her lawyers were "at the ready" to take down her enemies as she issued the stark warning.

Taking to her Instagram stories, the Cilla star told fans she would spill the beans on those who had been "laying low and acting big".

Sheridan cryptically wrote: "Never again will I trust snakes! Shady snakes lie low and act big. Wait til I tell you, all coming soon."

Alongside a snake and an angry-faced emoji, she concluded: "Lawyers at the ready mfs [motherf***ers]."

The social media outburst also saw the Two Pints of Lager actress re-post a quote that read: "We never lose friends. We just learn who the real ones are."

It comes as Sheridan told fans the "truth will come out" about her life as she shared her excitement about her upcoming autobiography.

Revealing that she had detailed her "demons" in upcoming book, Honestly: My Story, she added how she hoped she would "finally be understood".

Taking to Twitter, actress Sheridan wrote in a now-deleted tweet: "Can't wait for you guys to read the book, a lot of truths will come out! I hope you finally understand."

According to publisher Penguin, the Legally Blonde star writes of "dark times and heartbreak" as well as her silver screen and West End success.
