Cusworth Hall joins Royal Horticultural Society as partner garden
Doncaster’s historic Cusworth Hall has been selected by the Royal Horticultural Society to join its prestigious partner garden scheme.
Bosses have selected the Walled Garden at the property as one of 17 new gardens to join the project.
A spokesperson said: “We are delighted to announce that the Walled Garden at Cusworth Hall and Park has been invited to join the Royal Horticultural Society RHS Partner Garden scheme.
"We join 17 other new gardens in 2026 – 13 in the UK and five verseas - creating a 241 strong RHS Partner Garden family.

“We are thrilled that the RHS has selected Cusworth Hall and Park alongside some of the world’s most admired gardens as well as privately-owned hidden gems.
“Cusworth Hall walled garden combines symmetry with seasonal colour.”
The Walled Garden has been beautifully restored to its former glory, featuring contemporary waves of grass and vibrant, hot-coloured herbaceous planting in the Hall Garden that echo the surrounding 18th-century parkland.
In the Flower Garden, English scented roses and soft pastel perennials create a more delicate contrast.
The walled garden is open on the second and fourth Sunday of each month, April–October 2026.
