People urged to donate goods to Doncaster Food Bank this Christmas
People are being urged to buy items to help stock the food bank
Doncaster Foodbank has launched its Christmas campaign - and is urging people to add items to their shopping lists to help others this festive season.
The organisations’ next Food Drive will be at the Tesco Woodfield Plantation on November 26-28.
A spokesperson said: “We will be packing premade Food Donation Bags that contain items that we most require for our Emergency Food Parcels.
“The idea is that we pack the bags and the customer purchases them and then drops the bag in our trolley past the tills.
“We then collect the items and bring them back to the warehouse.

“These will be sold for approximately £2.50 per bag and have been very successful in the past.
