Motorways in South Yorkshire to be closed due to roadworks

Motorists have been warned of motorway and slip road closures across South YorkshireÂ due to roadworks over the next week.

Highways England said the following works would be carried out:

M18 junction 0 to M1 junction 32 Thurcroft

The M18 southbound to the M1 northbound link will be fully closed overnight for five nights from Monday, July 23. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am and drivers will follow a clearly signed diversion route.

M1 junction 33 Catcliffe

The southbound entry slip road will be closed overnight on Wednesday, July 25 for technology repairs. The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly-signed diversion routes.

M1 junction 37 Dodworth

The southbound entry slip road will be closed overnight on Monday, July 23 for technology repairs. The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly-signed diversion routes.
