A lovestruck South Yorkshire woman has launched a desperate plea to track down a "Hot Italian looking guy" spotted during a morning commute.

The woman used today's Metro newspaper Rush Hour Crush column to track down the man she says she spotted on the number 95 Walkey to Sheffield bus.

Describing herself as the "Curly-Haired Brunette Who Was Sitting Next To You," she wrote: "Hot Italian-looking guy on the 7.05am No. 95 bus in Sheffield.

"I saw you smiling. Can I tempt you to an after-work drink on Friday?"

The column is aimed at "commuter cupids" who spot people they fancy on public transport and then use the newspaper in a bid to track them down.
