One young person taking part is 17-year-old Keira from Doncaster, who is supported by Blind in Business, a BBC Children in Need-funded project that helps blind and partially sighted young people build confidence, develop new skills and prepare for future education and employment.

Keira is a talented and determined young person who throws herself into every opportunity. Through the support of the project, she has continued to grow in confidence while pursuing her ambitions and developing the skills she needs for the future.

A passionate performer, Keira loves singing and recently came second in a local singing competition. She has also performed solo roles in school productions, most recently taking on the role of Young Fiona in Shrek. Performing gives Keira the chance to express herself, build confidence and share her love of music with others.

On being a part of the choir, Keira said: "I've always loved performing, so being part of the BBC Children in Need Choir is an incredible opportunity. I'm excited to sing alongside so many other talented young people and be part of a performance that celebrates everything BBC Children in Need does for children and young people across the UK."
