They're all part of a 12-strong crew who've been thrown together in the wilds of the of Denbighshire/Conwy border to build a 850ft bridge across the waters of Llyn Brenig reservior.

They've got 20 days to build, by hand, a structure that'll get them over to it - overcoming a series of twists and turns along the way.

If the group successfully work as a team and reach the cash before the deadline, each of them will get a vote for who they think is the most deserving of the life changing prize.

The winner is then left with the trickiest decision of all – will they keep all the money or share it?

Growing up, Luke experienced homelessness and lived in a tent under a bridge with his mum and his sister for a time.

He says those times have taught him what’s really important in life.

"I'm the sort of person who, when someone says, "Don't press the red button," needs to press the red button," he admits.

Steve Handley, Commissioning Editor at Channel 4 said, “Filmed in the backdrop of the wide open spaces of the glorious UK countryside that many of us have been dreaming of in recent months this entertaining and utterly engaging new reality series is bound to start many conversations about just how far we would each go to secure £100k.”

The series is being filmed following strict Covid-19 production guidelines and will be narrated by X-Men actor James McAvoy.
