Doncaster area country park serves up feast of half-term fun
There will be plenty going on in the run up to Halloween
A funfair, fireworks and free entry for all – a Doncaster area country park is throwing open its doors to local people for Halloween weekend.
Seven Lakes near Crowle has facilities which are accessible to the public anyway, but Unity Holidays are making a special effort to ensure local families have plenty to enjoy this coming weekend.
Tuckers Funfairs will bring all the traditional fun of the fair to Seven Lakes from Thursday October 29 to Sunday November 1, including fantastic rides for all ages, children’s rides and family attractions, games and stalls, traditional funfair treats and a spooky Halloween atmosphere.
Admission to the fair is totally free, and it’s open at the following times: Thursday 1pm to 9pm; Friday 1pm to 9pm; Saturday 1pm to 10pm; Sunday 1pm to 7pm.
One of the highlights of the weekend at Seven Lakes will be their fireworks display at 9pm on Saturday, October 31 – Halloween itself.
With the fireworks being set off from one of the lakes, the display will have a unique backdrop and setting.

Again, this is totally free.
Saturday will be the main event of the weekend, with Seven Lakes offering food stalls, indoor and outdoor bars, stilt walkers and a fire breather, free face painting, and the park’s pub – The Dog and Duck – will serve pizza, barbecue and takeaway options.
“By hosting a weekend packed full of fun for all the family, and offering free admission, we hope we can deliver an event that the whole community can enjoy,” said Seven Lakes resort director Terry Norton.
“There will be something for everyone, and we would offer a warm welcome to anyone nearby that hasn’t been to visit us.”
Seven Lakes is just off Wharf Road (A161) and Crowle, and the postcode is DN17 4JS.
