Doncaster residents heartbroken as murder investigation launched into death of 'beautiful young lady'

The woman, aged 35, who has not yet been officially named, was found unconscious and unresponsive by the ambulance service at an address on Thorne Road at around 9.27pm on Saturday, July 11.
She was sadly pronounced dead on scene by paramedics and a 38-year-old man was arrested. He remains in police custody.

Hide AdSince the news broke residents have been paying tributes to the woman who was “beautiful inside and out”.
Writing on South Yorkshire Police’s Facebook page, Lisa Waterhouse said: “I'm so shocked she was beautiful inside and out. I have so many memories with her, RIP beautiful.”
A Sally Hooley added: “Such a beautiful bright bubbly lady, I'm so sorry this has happened to you. RIP lovely.”
Dee Torrance, also said: “Sweet dreams lovely, was a pleasure to have known you. Taken far to soon.”

Hide AdThere are now five murder investigations underway following the deaths of women in the town over recent weeks.
Including Amanda Sedgwick, 49, Michelle Morris, 52, Amy Stringfellow, 26, and an unnamed 28-year-old woman.
Commenting on the news, writing on the Doncaster Free Press Facebook page, Sammy Jess said: “This breaks my heart.”
Alex Grace, writing on the police’s Facebook page, said: “Awful, bless her, what is happening with all these women being murdered in Doncaster.”
