A police investigation is underway after reports of a woman being raped in Doncaster were made

It has been alleged that two men followed a woman at night in Doncaster before raping her – police are investigating.

In a statement South Yorkshire Police said: “A cordon is in place in Central Boulevard, Doncaster as officers investigate reports that a woman was raped in the area on Saturday, April 10.“It’s alleged that two men followed the woman along Central Boulevard early on Saturday evening, before raping her.“An investigation is now underway and detectives are urging anyone who saw anything suspicious to report this through 101.

"The incident number is 456 of April 15.”
