Comedian Jimmy Carr announces two shows on return to Doncaster
The television favourite will perform two shows on the same night
Television comedy favourite Jimmy Carr has announced a return to Doncaster in 2027.
The stand-up star will have TheDome roaring with laughter next year when he returns with his new stand-up show, ‘Killing Jokes’.
One of the UK’s most popular comedians, Jimmy will deliver two performances of the show on Saturday, April 24.
The presenter of several hit TV shows, including 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and The Big Fat Quiz of the Year, Jimmy will take to the stage at 7.00pm and 9.30pm for ‘Killing Jokes – a show which promises ‘a brutal, life-affirming night out, packed with fast, dark one-liners about all kinds of terrible things.’

Kevin McCoy, events and sales manager at Doncaster Dome, which is managed by Doncaster Culture and Leisure Trust (DCLT), said: “We are thrilled to welcome Jimmy back to the Dome.
“He went down a storm on his previous visit in 2024 and we’re expecting another sell-out, so please get in early to avoid disappointment!’

Tickets will go on presale via the Dome’s website and Ticketmaster at 10am on Thursday, October 24, and on general sale at 10.00am on Friday, October 25.
