Casualty taken to hospital after dog kennel fire spread to vehicles in Doncaster village

Three fire crews from Thorne and Doncaster stations were called out to a shed and dog kennel on fire at 7.15pm on Norwood Road, Dunscroft last night (Thursday, June 16).

When crews arrived the fire had already spread slightly to three vehicles.

One casualty was taken to hospital.

A spokesman for South Yorkshire Police said enquiries are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the fire but it is believed to have started accidentally.

The crews returnd to their stations at 9.15pm.
