A Chinese takeaway has found its own way of saying thank you to hard-working NHS staff by offering them a discount.

Doh Wah in Cross Street, Balby, announced over the bank holiday weekend that it will give ten per cent off food bought on Thursdays, from June 3.

A spokesman said: “To thank the hard work that all NHS staff have done in the last 18 months we are pleased to announce that we will be offering ten per cent off to NHS staff who provide a VALID PHOTO ID card when they collect their food. Minimum spend £5.”
