Youngsters in several year groups are back in lessons today at the privately run Hill House School in Finningley.
The school is following government guidance and started with a partial reopening of its site for selected year groups.

Hide AdThe school announced to their parents in May that Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 will be welcomed back to site from Monday June 1.
The school today said it had implemented stringent social distancing and hygiene measures to ensure the safety of pupils and staff.
This includes temperature checks on arrival, class sizes of 15, and a one-way system for moving around the school.
They have also introduced staggered start, finish and lunch times, extra hand sanitisers.

Hide AdAnd the school day will now include hand washing breaks and regular cleaning of classrooms, toilets and public areas.
Headteacher David Holland said: “We are delighted to see some pupils back on site. The remote teaching and learning that we have implemented since March has been hugely successful and we are immensely proud of our pupils, staff and parents for working so hard during these times.
“The remote learning will continue for all other years.
“We are also looking forward to commencing a remote introduction to A Level subjects for Year 11 and university taster sessions for our Upper Sixth cohort.”
He added the re-opening of site will be reviewed regularly in line with Government guidance.
The school remains open for children of key workers.

Hide AdHill House is thought to be the first school in Doncaster to re-open today.
The Astrea schools trust had been looking to open its Atlas Academy, Hillside Academy, Intake Academy and Waverley Academy at some point this week, but are in talks with ‘stakeholders’ over the issue.
