Doncaster school set to re-open for some pupils next week

One of Doncaster’s schools is set to partially re-open next week for the first time since lockdown.

The Government has stated schools can re-open from Monday, and Hill House School, at Finningley is thought to be set to be the first in Doncaster to bring some pupils back in, other than those of key workers who have been attending throughout.

The private school confirmed on social media today it would be welcoming some of its children back next week.

Headteacher David Holland said on Twitter today: “A busy half term holiday! Many thanks to all the staff who have spent it preparing the site/classrooms/dining hall/car park/changing rooms/etc for the return of our first groups of children on Monday!

“Looking forward to seeing more children!”
