Exceed Learning Partnership says its schools in the borough have been working on their plans to return for several weeks, but supported a letter sent by Mayor of Doncaster Ros Jones raising concerns about the lack of locally focused information on the levels of Covid in Doncaster.
Exceed runs Hill Top Academy and Victoria Academy in Edlington, Carr Lodge Academy at Woodfield, Sandringham Primary School in Intake, and Sheep Dip Lane Academy, in Hatfield.

We support the letter sent to the Prime Minister by Mayor Ros Jones, so that we can understand the infection rates within Doncaster and this will provide information to us as leaders on whether it is safe to return.
“Exceed academies have been making plans for the last three weeks on how we can ensure the highest levels of safety within the school buildings and risk assessing all areas of the provision. We have been working on a recovery curriculum in order to support our pupils when they do return.”
