“The first thing people are normally told is that you need a business plan and money - you don’t.

“You just need someone to show you how to run a business and to have confidence.”

The workshop will run from Monday, March 9 to Friday, March 20 in the Wool Market - attendance is flexible but Simon recommends coming to every session to get the most out of the experience.

“We will be sharing practical help to get a business off the ground running,” Simon continued.

People often build their businesses with us in these classes- step by step.

“We have a different class everyday centered around a different area of business.”

Some of those topics include: how to focus, search engine optimisation, sales, networking and how to start a business with no money.

The event, which has been sponsored by Doncaster Council, is free to anyone who wishes to attend.

He said: “The business world is moving so fast but there has never been a better time to set up a successful business and make money doing something you love.

“If you’re curious about starting your own business then come along to the pop-up and see if it’s something you’re interested in.”

The pop up is open to people who are wanting to start a business from scratch or even own an existing business but want to expand or try something new.

Simon is keen for people in the creative industries to take this opportunity as well as those who work in the eco sector to enable them to expand the creative hub in Doncaster.
