It’s time to shine a light on Doncaster businesses with the annual awards hosted by the chamber
The Doncaster Business Awards are now open for entry and the chamber is encouraging people to apply.
Businesses with a DN postcode can enter any or all of the 14 award categories including SME Business of the Year, Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility, Success through Partnerships and Apprentice of the Year.
Jade Dyer, Business Director of the Chamber said: “Doncaster is home to numerous outstanding organisations and entering the awards is a great opportunity for them to raise their profile, celebrate employees, inspire others and gain public recognition for their hard work.
“The event continues to be a great catalyst for increased sales for winners and finalists.”
Over 900 businesses, restrictions permitted, will attend the big awards night on Thursday, December 16 to celebrate the best of business in Doncaster.
Businesses of any size and sector can request an application form, write about their business success and send their application by Friday, July 16.
The Chamber offers an Awards Writing Masterclass for organisations that want some guidance.
A panel of independent judges from public and private sectors assess the applications and will announce the finalists on Friday, August 20.
A second set of judges, including the category award sponsors, then visit each shortlisted business to hear more about their outstanding work.
All award winners and runners up will be announced at the Doncaster Business Awards ceremony on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at the Doncaster Racecourse.
The big night includes a three course meal, charity fundraising and live entertainment; making it the perfect black tie event for businesses, their staff and special guests.
The region’s biggest business awards offer unrivalled advertising and sponsorship opportunities for maximum brand exposure throughout the marketing campaign and at the glittering event itself.
