He said: “We wanted to create a space where new businesses and home workers could come and work and network with other members.

“Working from home can mean less productivity - but here there are no distractions.

“You feel like you’re getting up and coming to work and it’s a professional level space that you can bring clients or have meetings in.”

WorkHere is the closest co-working space to Doncaster town centre and is within walking distance of the train station and the Frenchgate shopping centre.

“We’re close to all the local amenities – from restaurants and coffee shops to Town Fields which is just across the road,” Tariq continued.

“We have a range of people that come in here - some come in every day and others a couple of days a week.

“There is also an online office membership which is useful for people to use as a business address opposed to a home address for business correspondence.

“We’ve developed a really nice small community of professional businesses and integrated that with the wider community here at Cavendish Court.

“We’re really accessible and we offer a really professional environment but at the same time it’s a friendly and flexible workspace.”

The working space opened on July 1, 2019 and has been slowly growing in the six months it has been open.

“If you’ve never tried co-working then come and give it a go here,” Tariq continued.

“If you’re working from home whether that’s for somebody else or starting a new business then it’s a great environment for business and to socialise.”

It’s £10 for a day pass to use the space and £60 for a month - which includes the use of meeting rooms as well as tea, coffee, and snacks.
