It’s shaping up to be an incredible year for music in 2025 so far with a number of tours having been announced for the New Year so far.
That’s not even considering some of next year’s high profile music festivals, many of which have already announced their headliners and first wave of artists. But festivals aside, there’s plenty on offer up and down the length of the United Kingdom…
… and believe it or not, some of the shows we’ve selected in our “25 for 2025” still have tickets available through Ticketmaster, See Tickets or ATG Tickets. But for those who missed out on, let’s say, Oasis tickets - there’s still a chance on the resale market be it Twickets (in the case of the Gallagher Brothers) or StubHub.
But with plenty more tours set to be announced in early 2025, here’s our picks for the year ahead, so far.
21. Jeff Wayne's The War of the Worlds
Jeff Wayne's The War of the Worlds will tour the UK in 2025, kicking off in Hull on March 28. Additional dates include Aberdeen (April 1), Glasgow (April 2), Leeds (April 3), Newcastle (April 5), and Manchester (April 6). Other stops include Sheffield (April 8), Liverpool (April 9), Nottingham (April 10), Brighton (April 12), Bournemouth (April 13-14), Cardiff (April 16-17), Birmingham (April 18), and concluding in London on April 20. | Provided
22. Billy Ocean
Billy Ocean will be bringing his iconic sound to venues across the UK in June 2025, offering fans the chance to relive his greatest hits live. Starting at the O2 Apollo in Manchester on June 4, he’ll perform in cities including Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Newcastle, before heading to Bristol, Brighton, Bournemouth, and Blackpool. Fans can also catch him at the First Direct Arena in Leeds, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the University of Wolverhampton. 23. Ocean Colour Scene
Ocean Colour Scene is hitting a variety of iconic venues across the UK in spring and early summer of 2025, bringing their timeless sound to fans from Leeds to Newcastle. The band will take the stage in cities including Birmingham, London, Manchester, and Swansea, with several performances showcasing their hits for eager audiences. Special stops include a night at the Alhambra Theatre in Dunfermline with Kula Shaker on April 19, and a memorable appearance at the Neighbourhood Weekender in Warrington on May 24. | Provided
24. Primal Scream
Primal Scream are hitting the road in spring 2025 with a packed UK and Ireland tour. Kicking off at Bristol's Beacon on 31st March, the band will visit Southampton, Edinburgh, and Glasgow, with back-to-back shows at the O2 Academy. They’ll then head to Birmingham, Liverpool, and London before stops in Manchester, Nottingham, Belfast, and Dublin.
