9. Viola
22-year-old Viola is from Coventry and is "here to pluck it up". Describing her act, Viola said: "Coming to a Viola show, you're going to laugh, but most of all, you're going to be wowed and you're going to be shocked, because, darling, there is nobody on the scene who does what I do. I am known as the UK's only violin playing and singing drag queen, so you'll hear my gorgeous vocals and tremendous fiddling, and you will also laugh – maybe more at me, but I will certainly make you laugh!" | BBC Photo: BBC

10. Chai T Grande
32-year-old Chai T Grande is 'your sweet, spicy, steaming hot beverage all the way from exotic London'. She describes her drag act as: "You're going to get beauty, choreo and I'm going to take you to a different world because my favourite thing about drag is losing yourself. It's also important for me to represent my Thai heritage in my drag. Growing up in London as a mixed-race English and Thai person, I didn't really feel that connected to my ‘Asian-ness’. Now, I’m more confident and I have a stronger sense of my identity, so I can bring forward those elements into my performances, looks and references. I am completely unapologetic about who I am, because being mixed race is fantastic!" | BBC Photo: BBC

11. Bonnie Ann Clyde
30-year-old Bonnie Ann Clyde is from Dublin and is self-declared as "Ireland's finest export". Describing her drag act, Bonnie said: "We might have a little comedy, a spoken word lip-sync number before we move onto something fierce and dance-y in a body suit, and then we’ll do a ballad, and mostly you will be enamoured by my presence and my glamorousness! Bonnie Ann Clyde you'd think is a pun on the gangsters Bonnie and Clyde. It's actually not. I'm named after my two dead cats, and they were named after the gangsters. And so, my dead cats live on in me!" | BBC Photo: BBC

12. Bones
25-year-old Bones is "the witchy boho queen of Soho, London". Describing her drag act, Bones said: "With a Bones show you get the full fantasy. It's not just the costume, it's not just the song – it's the whole thing. You are brought into the full heavenly fantasy and you just live within. That’s why people come to the shows, because you’re not going to get it anywhere else! Honestly, my name just came to me in the shower and I was like, ‘Bones works!’." | BBC Photo: BBC
