'Huge party' promised as Fake Festival to return to Doncaster after lockdown
The organisers of Doncaster’s Fake Festival have promised a ‘huge party’ after bosses announced the return of the music spectacular after the coronavirus lockdown.
The date of this year’s event in Sandall Park has been moved from May to July to tie in with the Government’s proposed date for the end of Covid-19 restrictions on June 21.
This year’s show on July 3 will feature tribute bands to the Foo Fighters, The Jam, James, Guns ‘n’ Roses, Green Day and Kings Of Leon as well as other local bands.
A spokesman said: “Doncaster - are you ready?
"We missed you guys, our home crowd and master party rockers! After skipping a year, we’re on for a huge party this time - and boy are we up for it! It’s another belting line-up of fake bands, so bring those sweet singing voices and let’s smash out those anthems right till the end. Don’t miss the Donny buzz!”
