RACING TIP OF THE DAY

SARSTED
Salisbury 2.20 WIN
Fingers crossed that today’s meeting at Salisbury survives its morning inspection, which has been called after a forecast of heavy rain, and goes ahead. For Hughie Morrison’s powerful two-year-old son of Paco Boy has a golden opportunity to open his account. Morrison speaks highly of the colt -- and we found out why on debut at Newbury three weeks ago when he picked up well for pressure in the final furlong and ran on strongly to finish a never-nearer third. Significantly, the race was run on similar ground likely to prevail today, and encouragingly, the form of the contest is already working out very well.
