Bilal Anjam’s side have now lost eight out of 12 in the league this term.

Anjam showed plenty of determination to make 69 not out after Town won the toss and chose to bat.

But he ran out of partners and a total of 158-9 did not pose any problems for the in-form hosts.

Matthew Fowler (89no) and Jamar Ifill (50) led the title challengers to victory in 26.1 overs for the loss of just one wicket.

Town host Whitley Hall on Saturday, while Tickhill are at home to second-placed Treeton.
