Brian Hughes has partnered two winners from six rides at Doncaster this season, an impressive 33% strike-rate & he has an interesting ride for Pauline Robson in the £8,035 beginners chase over two and a half-miles (2.10pm).

He does the steering on Stay Humble who has a first run for the yard, having previously been based with Closutton maestro Willie Mullins in Ireland.

A bumper and hurdle winner, this is the son of Beat Hollow’s first runs over fences, but could be a potential improver in his new surroundings.

He faces seven rivals, including the unexposed The Big Bite who was fourth to the talented Master Tommytucker at Kempton in November on his debut over the larger obstacles.

He is partnered by Jonathan Burke, a man in form with a 17% strike-rate in the last two weeks.

Nicky Henderson has enjoyed plenty of success at Town Moor in the last five seasons with 18 winners from 71 runners, a 25% strike-rate.

He saddles two unexposed novices at the track on Tuesday in the shape of Craigneiche (1.35pm) and Global Society (2.40pm).

Craigneiche won a bumper at market Rasen in June, 2019 and was not disgraced when third to the exciting The Big Breakaway on his hurdling debut last month, whilst the latter is bidding to make a winning debut for the Seven Barrows maestro having finished second in three runs for Irish trainer Gordon Elliott last season.

He has five runners at the track on Tuesday, including Stockburn in the 3.15pm who finished a creditable third at Exeter over a marathon trip in December.
