More history made by Doncaster darts star Beau Greaves as she qualifies for maiden Euro Tour events

Yet more history made by Doncaster darting sensation Beau Greaves

We really should be getting used to it by now, but Beau Greaves is writing yet more history.

The Sprotbrough star, 22, has become the first female to qualify for a PDC European Tour event. And better than that, she's actually qualified for not one but two events! Greaves, in her first year a tour card holder, will compete at two events later this year: The Hungarian Darts Trophy in August and the Czech Darts Open in September. To qualify she saw off Andy Boulton and Charlie Manby respectively, earlier this week.

Greaves is becoming accustomed to creating history after becoming the first woman to not only win a PDC ranking title but also to hit a fabled nine-darter.

Greaves' next major outing is later this month when she bids to become a three-time Women's World Matchplay winner. She will face Finland's Kirsi Viinikainen, who she played at the same stage last year.

If she wins that opener, a potential semi-final awaits against either Gemma Hayter or Vicky Pruim with a final clash on the famous Blackpool stage against any of defending champion Lisa Ashton, veteran Deta Hedman, Fallon Sherrock or Rhian O'Sullivan. Greaves previously won in 2023 and 2024.
