Doncaster Knights launch cow pie takeaways!

Doncaster Knights are making their legendary cow pie available for takeaway orders this weekend.

The Championship club is having to think outside of the box to generate revenue – and this week announced their new Cow Pie & a Pint takeaway service.

They had planned to host a Champions Cup Final Lunch at Castle Park on Saturday but the event has been scrapped due to the new coronavirus restrictions.

Orders must be placed before 4pm on Friday by calling 01302 831388 or emailing [email protected] and will be available for collection from Castle Park reception between noon and 2pm on Saturday.

Payment will only be accepted by card.

Knights raised more than £50,000 through a Crowdfunder scheme over the summer.

Championship clubs have agreed that it is not viable to play behind-closed-doors – so there is growing doubt over whether the 2020/21 season will go ahead.
