Doncaster Knights keep their feet on the ground following flying start

Knights have won out of four – beating Ampthill, Coventry, Hartpury and Cornish Pirates – to lie second in the table behind big-spending Ealing Trailfinders.

They take a well earned rest this weekend before hosting Jersey on April 10.

"If you look too far ahead you soon get shot in the foot,” said Boden.

"The players need to mentally re-group now and have a break. It’s been quite tough, going through lockdowns as well, so this week off has come at a really good time for them.

"Do a bit of home training and then come back, ready to go and rip in. Let’s keep our feet on the ground. We’ve won four games and they’ve all been pretty tight.”
