Venues for Doncaster Rovers' EFL Trophy group matches confirmed

Wolves U21s were the invited side drawn into Northern Group F alongside Rovers, Bradford City and Oldham Athletic in the competition.

Having taken Cameron John and Niall Ennis on loan from Wolves last season, Moore is looking forward to renewing acquaintances with the West Midlands club.

“I like the group,” Moore said.

“I really like the Wolves game because of the connection we had with them with Niall and Cameron being here.

“It’s good to rub shoulders with them again in a cup competition.

“Bradford, as we know, are strong. Oldham under Harry Kewell will be good.

“It’s a good group.”

Rovers will host Bradford in their opening game of the group, which is expected to take place on September 8.

They will visit Oldham in October before hosting Wolves U21s in November.
