The forward missed Friday’s draw at Sunderland with a hamstring injury and is doubtful for Tuesday night’s clash with Southend United.

And it could mean the 26-year-old has already played his last game for Rovers, with his short term contract due to expire later this week.

Moore has pledged to address Bingham’s future on Wednesday, once the Southend match has been played, and declined to suggest what his decision will be.

“Rakish is on the verge of getting back in training now,” Moore said.

“Obviously his contract is up towards the end of the week.

“We thought we would get the game over and done with on Tuesday and then sit down and have a chat with him on Wednesday to see where he’s at.

“With his contract being up we have to look at Rakish and the position he plays plus what he’s done for the team thus far.

“He’s been brought in and he’s done well. He’s got a couple of goals and contributed at a time where we’ve needed extra bodies.

“We need to look at that now and come together with him, his advisor and the football club and decide what we’re going to do.

“I’ve tried to put it to the back of my mind with the game but we’ll look at it later in the week.”

Bingham has scored two goals in 12 appearances since joining Rovers in early November.
