Two parties "show interest" in Doncaster Rovers stadium naming rights
Doncaster Rovers chief executive Gavin Baldwin says two separate parties have already shown an interest in taking on the naming rights for the club's stadium from next season.
The arrangement with Eco-Power, the Doncaster-based waste management and recycling company, is set to finish at the end of the current campaign. The deal - described as the "biggest the club has ever done from a commercial point of view" - began back in December 2021 with Rovers' home ground renamed the Eco-Power Stadium. But back in 2024 Eco-Power announced they were scaling back sponsorship commitments.

The minutes from the latest shadow board meeting were published on Thursday, offering a brief update on the topic - as well as a potential part of any new name, as per instructions from chairman Terry Bramall. It read: "Gavin Baldwin informed the shadow board that the Chairman is very keen that ‘Club Doncaster Sports Village’ is included in the new naming of the stadium upon the expiry of the current contract with Eco-Power."
It adds: "GB explained that there is currently two unnamed parties which has shown interest in the stadium naming rights and front of the shirt."
The latter issue is intriguing given that the current front-of-shirt sponsors, Pass Logistics, still have another year to run on their arrangement. Other notable developments to come out of the meeting include a note regarding season ticket sales and that "revenue generated by the Club has increased by approximately £100,000 on the same period for the 2025/2026 season."
It also adds that new LED advertising boards and a big screen - to be housed in the north stand - have been approved with works likely to start in the summer.
