So what are the possible ins and outs at the Keepmoat ahead of the 11pm deadline.
1. Jacob Ramsey
This Aston Villa youngster is very much on Doncaster Rovers' radar. Reports out of the West Midlands suggest he will be joining Rovers on loan today. Darren Moore's priority is landing an attack-minded midfielder and Ramsey certainly fits the bill. | Getty Images Photo: Alex Burstow
2. Ben Whiteman
Rovers have been steadfast with their hands-off warning over the skipper. But could a club test their resolve in the final hours of the window. Known admirers Hull City - who saw bids rejected in the summer - are set to be awash with cash after high-profile departures today. | JPIMedia Photo: JPIMedia
3. Kieran Sadlier
Likewise with Whiteman, top scorer Sadlier is another player Rovers could see their resolve tested on in the coming hours. Yet to sign a new deal, Sadlier could leave for free at the end of the season. Hull, again, are known admirers. | JPIMedia Photo: JPIMedia
4. Adam Idah
This one now looks incredibly remote but it is only a few weeks ago that Rovers had an agreement to loan the Norwich City striker. That was before his hat trick heroics in the FA Cup. He now looks set to stay with Norwich and push for a place in matchday squads - though you cannot rule out a change of heart with academy boss Steve Weaver expressing his belief that the 18-year-old should be sent out on loan. | Getty Images Photo: Jan Kruger
