Doncaster Rovers will be looking to continue their winning streak when they take on Salford City at the Eco-Power Stadium.

Only goal difference separates the two sides ahead of kick-off tonight with The Class of '92-owned Salford in 16th and Rovers one place below them after consecutive wins.

Salford blew Doncaster away with a 4-1 win the last time they met, in March, with Neil Wood’s side going on to reaching the League Two play-offs last term.

Doncaster Rovers v Salford City LIVE

Salford make a change with Kelly N’Mai replacing Ethan Ingram, who was on a booking.

Boos greet the whistle. It wasn’t pretty. Rovers have been nowhere near their levels of recent weeks.

That should be 3-0. Rovers let off after some awful defending. Ball is fed towards big Matt Smith, who turns and tries to shoot but slips. Ball runs free to Ryan Watson, who hooks it over from about six yards.

Think everyone in the stadium knew that was a let-off.

Ironside connects with another Nixon delivery into the six-yard box but Cairns collects at the second attempt. Four minutes added on.

Change of formation for Doncaster

They’ve switched to four at the back with Owen Bailey pushed into midfield. Meanwhile, Salford’s Ethan Ingram gets a booking for bringing Tom Nixon down near the edge of the area.

One of those days so far

Joe Ironside heads Tom Nixon’s cross over the bar, not long after a corner kick was easily cleared by Salford. Doncaster need a wake-up call.

Ten minutes until the break.

Salford ping it around the Rovers players and eventually work the ball into the box, where Smith is there to peel off the last man and head home.

That’s not something you see very often

A Salford defender has just cleared the East Stand with a clearance. Rovers enjoying the better of the play but no real chance since that Biggins effort.

A Salford player goes down after being struck by the ball with both sets of physios called on by the referee.

Superb cross cut out

Adrain Mariappa almost sends Tom Nixon’s delivery into ‘no man’s land’ into his own net but the ball ends up the wrong side of the post. Corner is dealt with.
