Reece James will be suspended for the game having picked up his fifth yellow card of the season in Saturday’s win over Swindon Town.

He was booked for kicking the ball away after conceding a foul in the final match before his previous yellow cards would have been chalked off.

Moore said: “This was the last game that we had to get through because we had a few on four yellows.

“For Reece to pick up a yellow like that one, it’s not ideal.

“With the rules, he’ll be missing on Tuesday which forces us to reshuffle the pack again.”

And Tyreece John-Jules is unlikely to be available after pulling up with a hamstring injury during the game.

The outlook did not look good for the on loan Arsenal striker, who seems likely to face an extended spell on the sidelines.

Moore said: “We’re going to assess him.

“Obviously it didn’t look good, him pulling up like that, but I like to give it 24 to 48 hours. The physio always says to give it that time.

“Rather than making a knee-jerk reaction, we’ll wait to see what the physio says over the next couple of days about what the prognosis is on that one.”

Joe Wright will be out of action for several weeks after picking up a calf injury - a similar injury to that which has sidelined James Coppinger for the rest of the month.

Madger Gomes continues to recover from a hamstring injury.
