Danny Schofield admits he’s still searching for a solution to Doncaster Rovers’ inconsistency.
Rovers have won eight, drawn one and lost nine of Schofield’s 18 league games in charge, having won six, drawn three and lost five under his predecessor Gary McSheffrey.

“We’re a competitive team, we’re always in games.
"I don’t think we come away from games thinking ‘we were totally outplayed’. If we come into the press conference with a point or a win, nobody says ‘you don’t deserve it’.”
Doncaster more than held their own for an hour of last weekend’s defeat to Bradford City but finished the match on the wrong end of a 1-0 scoreline.
In a repeat of their loss to Sutton United one week prior, Rovers created chances to score – albeit not as many – which went begging before they were punished at the other end.
On another day, the outcome might have been different.

"We’re always striving for those one per cents. We need to find them quick.
“I can’t fault the players, they give everything. The GPS data is through the roof since I have come in.
"We have got people in the building with that winning mentality, that killing edge. We just need to be more clinical in games.”
