5. 16 - Richie Wellens
His best spell at Rovers came before the decade started and set him on a path to big things. But he still possessed the same qualities on his return for a two-and-a-half year spell in the middle of the 2010s. A stunning array of passes and a vocal presence in the middle of the park. | JPIMedia Photo: STEVE TAYLOR
6. 15 - El Hadji Diouf
On pure ability, he would have to be in the conversation for the very best players to have ever featured for the club. He possessed ridiculous amounts of quality when he arrived during the ill-fated 'Experiment' season. | JPIMedia Photo: Bruce Rollinson
7. 14 - Herbie Kane
The best loanee of the decade title goes to the man who impressed from the start of his temporary spell in the 2018/19 season. Combative, tough but also excellent in possession. That supporters still clamour for his return says plenty. | Freelance Photo: James Wilson
8. 13 - James O'Connor
Another whose best days at the club came before the start of the decade but he continued to be the reliable and versatile defender Rovers looked to as they moved into the 2010s. | JPIMedia Photo: Liz Mockler
