Terry Bramall reiterates Doncaster Rovers commitment as succession question is raised again
Terry Bramall, the Doncaster Rovers chairman, says he plans to "keep going" for the foreseeable and that he feels "very healthy".
The Rovers chair, aged 83, was part of the top table at Monday night's Meet the Owners event held at the Eco-Power Stadium. Hundreds of supporters attended, with Bramall, chief executive Gavin Baldwin and manager Grant McCann fielding a variety of questions from fans. One such topic raised was whether a succession plan is in place. A similarly-worded question was answered 12 months ago by Bramall, who took up the position in December 2023.
Reiterating his commitment to the club, he jokingly replied: "When you get to 83, it's a bit difficult to plan long-term because you don't want to be wasting your time!"
He then explained how a long-term plan is firmly in place but went on to add that right now he is enjoying being at the coalface.

“I'm very busy with Doncaster Rovers and I think there is lots that we can do and I'm busy implementing that," he added. "I am very healthy and I am just going to keep going. Part of that will be finding a successor, there's no doubt about it.
"As with any business, you have got to plan ahead five or ten years so you can deal with the challenges that come. I have 39 years of experience in business and I have learned plenty. That kind of knowledge helps us keep with the progress of the club.
"We have to build the foundations then the future of Doncaster is more secure. I only see the future for this club being very positive and golden."
