Rossington Main continued their impressive form in life after lockdown as Niall Doran’s hat trick helped them register a comfortable 3-0 win over Doncaster Rovers’ youngsters at Oxford Street on Saturday.

Doran opened the scoring early on following some good work by Manny Kianga and soon doubled the lead with a well-placed drive past Rovers goalkeeper Tom Chambers.

The visitors rallied and would have reduced the arrears had Kian Johnson not tipped Lewis Cunningham’s powerful near post drive onto the woodwork after the left back was put through on goal by Corie Cole.

Following a flurry of half time substitutions, Doran claimed his hat trick just past the hour mark by sending the goalkeeper the wrong way from the penalty spot after Michael Nesbitt was judged to have handled.
