LIVE: Doncaster Rovers 1 Peterborough United 4

35min Rovers should have a goal back

Just before the Eisa chance, Rovers should have had a goal back.

The ball dropped to Reece James in acres of space in the box but Christy Pym stuck out a leg to block the attempt to place the shot.

Mo Eisa almost scored an absolute corker, cutting in from the left and curling for the far corner with the ball bouncing just in front of the post.

Brad Halliday replaces Joe Wright

28min Wright coming off

Joe Wright has been stretchered off here and looks in severe discomfort.

Brad Halliday is coming on.

23min The fireworks have started

A few fireworks have been set off outside the south stand - presumably in honour of the man of the hour.

22min Real concern here

Joe Wright and Peterborough’s Ricky-Jade Jones are both down here in the box and medical staff are on for both players.

Wright looks to be in severe discomfort, as does Jade-Jones, who was holding his face after the collision.

Jones raced through and attempted to stab the ball into the net, with Wright racing across to block.

They collided awkwardly and I believe Jones caught studs across his face, It appears it’s a leg injury for Wright.

20min Their turn to spoil the party

Peterborough haven’t read the script here.

The much-changed visitors have been dominant in this game so far and are passing rings around Rovers at times.

Darren Ferguson may have rested his big hitters but the replacements are delivering a quality performance.

Rovers look off the pace and unable to match the energy levels of their visitors.

Just not happening at all.

16min GOAL Peterborough

Idris Kanu heads in at the near post as Peterborough extend their advantage.

All far too easy for the visitors. Ricky-Jade Jones has an age to keep the ball in the box before moving out wide to Harrison Burrows who crosses in with Kanu flicking a header in.

Tyreece John-Jules gets free in the box and fires on goal with Christy Pym producing a good save to top it wide.

Niall Mason - yep - doubles the advantage for Peterborough.

All a bit easy for Posh as Mason bundles in from close range from a free kick out wide. The marking on the former Rovers man was dreadful.

Not the start Rovers were hoping for.
