LIVE: Doncaster Rovers 1 AFC Wimbledon 2

Wimbledon put the pressure on again with a break. Cheye Alexander lifted a ball into the box which Matt Smith touched back to the keeper - only, from very close range, forcing Pontus Dahlberg to put it out for a corner.

Nowhere the near the target but Rovers almost caught AFC Wimbledon out there.

Tommy Rowe spotted Kyle Knoyle on the far side in acres of space and found him with a long throw in. The full back lashed a shot that flew high and wide but the ingenuity was there.

Charlie Seaman cuts in off the right and lashes a low left-footed effort from close to 30 yards that drifts comfortably wide.

It’s been better from Rovers over the last few minutes.

15 Big Swede in action

Pontus Dahlberg has twice been called into action and looked assured. First with a strong punch in a crowded area and then racing out to claim the ball at the feet of Ayoub Assal.

14 Just not happening yet for Rovers

Rovers haven’t had a grip on this game at all in the early stages and Wimbledon are unsettling them a fair bit. The visitors are pressing the ball hard and not giving them a minute’s piece.

Wimbledon are also finding plenty of space in the wide areas.

Rovers did not take the knee but, rather, stood arm in arm on the centre circle. AFC Wimbledon did take the knee.

And the big news is that Pontus Dahlberg and Dan Gardner are straight into the side after signing yesterday.

There will also be debuts for Ro-Shaun Williams, Matt Smith, Ben Close, Aidan Barlow, Tiago Cukur and surprise inclusion Charlie Seaman, while Tommy Rowe makes his re-debut.

We understand Charlie Seaman will be playing in the midfield three.
